Corn Dogs and Fries

We also had roasted corn grits that we actually made, you know, as opposed to opened.  I’ll try and post a shot of those soon but the finished product is so non-photogenic that I decided to do an ingredient shot. Hopefully that will be ready come tomorrow.

Double Noodle

It was a very busy night at the Buchanan household, and the children won!  Bring out the can opener (actually no can opener needed on the new cans)  I had to run out to a location to shoot a building exterior in the sunset light so dinner was kind of a wash for the family.

Shrimp and Grits

Last night we had shrimp and grits.  This was a challenge because shrimp and grits as prepared is just plain ugly.  For the purists out there, I realize that one would usually have sausage in the mix as well but the kids don’t like spicy.
